Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cath Lab travel assignment in Kentucky. Assignment is 13 weeks, with day shifts 4x10 hours (07:00–17:30) and call 1–2 times weekly, plus 1–2 weekends per month.

Must hold AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with a compact or state license and at least 2 years in the Cath Lab field. Travelers should reside within reasonable distance for STEMI calls; housing is addressed, and references/background checks are part of the process.

Responsibilities

Description:The Catheterization Laboratory provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases.Registered Nurses are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.Invasive Radiology experience is an advantage.Previous travel experience is preferred.The schedule consists of 4 days of 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday.Call is required 1-2 times during the week and on 1-2 weekends per month.Candidates must possess AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certifications.A compact or state license is required.Floating is required within the scope of practice.Housing must be within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) call.All facilities operate on a standard schedule for the two-week pay period, unless noted otherwise.Ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-ins.Orientation takes place bi-weekly.Travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered.Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer.Submission packs must include a cover sheet and a copy of the traveler’s unexpired driver's license.References are required, including one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor.Both references must be completed within the last year.Background checks will be processed, and any license issues must be disclosed upfront.After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return.
