Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab on a 9-month assignment. The role focuses on circulating and assisting with cardiac cath procedures, EPIC and Mac-LAB familiarity, and PCI support.

You will evaluate patients, plan and document care, and collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in cath lab, current RN license, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to work day shifts.

Qualifications

• ASN nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience.
• Active RN license in NJ or multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Circulating nurse during cath procedures and PCI.
• Assess patients, plan and document care per standards.
• Operate EPIC and Mac-LAB; assist physicians as needed.

Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required skills include circulating nurse, EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, balloon pump, PCI, Right heart cath, and Left heart cath.Preferred skills include critical care experience and prior experience with EPIC and Sensis.Soft skills include circulation during pacer insertion experience and pulmonary embolism case experience.Education requirement is ASN; BSN is preferred.Telemetry experience is also preferred.
