Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nursing care plans.
• Conduct RN delegation per BON rules.
• Provide DSP training on care and procedures.
• Coordinate medical appointments and hospital discharges.
• Communicate with families, guardians, and service coordinators.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist during audits, surveys, and quality reviews.
