Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 34100 Sheboygan - Nursing department. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8am to 4:30pm with on-call 1-2 nights a week and one weekend per month, plus holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, direct patient care, documentation, and coordination with physicians. You will participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for caseloads in specialty areas.
• Conducts initial assessments to obtain physical, social and environmental data.
• Establishes plan of care per physician orders and patient needs.
• Provides direct patient care and adjusts nursing care as needed; communicates with family and health care team.
