Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5th Floor Intermediate at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. The RN will use strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and coordinate care between Med-Surg and ICU units.

The role includes developing and implementing care plans, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. Must maintain RN licensure and pursue BLS/ACLS as required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state with current license.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred or required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and data analysis.
• Create and implement a plan of care; evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
