Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Warren, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5th Floor Intermediate unit at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. You will use strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate care across departments.

The role requires current RN licensure, with at least 1 year of RN experience in acute care; BSN is preferred but not required. ACLS is required within 6 months of hire; BLS is preferred at hire.

Qualifications

• State licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• 1 year RN experience in acute care is required.
• ACLS preferred; must obtain ACLS within 6 months, BLS preferred at hire.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyze data, create plan of care, implement treatment and evaluate effectiveness.
• Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination across hospital departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement.
• Administer medications in a safe manner in line with policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
