Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare providers and physicians to solve problems, prioritize patient care objectives, and coordinate staff education within the assigned area.

The role includes discharge patient education and follow-up, contributing to quality patient outcomes across PIH Health Downey, Good Samaritan, Whittier facilities and regional services in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Current California RN license is required.
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
Current BLS from American Heart Association.
Two years recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with healthcare providers and physicians for problem solving and prioritizing patient care objectives.
Coordinate and develop staff education activities.
Facilitate discharge patient education and follow-up for the assigned area.
