Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate interdisciplinary team activities for a diverse patient population. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while documenting thoroughly in the EHR and ensuring medication safety through bar-scanning.

The role emphasizes ongoing education, teamwork, and adherence to ANA standards, with opportunities to grow toward BSN completion within three years.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have six months of relevant nursing experience or participate in Nurse Residency Program.
• Commitment to continuous education and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practices.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and oversee delegated tasks.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for specific populations.
• Document assessments, plans of care and interventions in the EHR.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning and ensure safe delivery.
