Job summary

Leewood Healthcare Center in Annandale, VA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership, direct nursing care, and oversight of resident services in a long-term care setting.

You will supervise LPNs/CNAs, participate in care planning, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain high standards of safety and infection control while collaborating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in Virginia.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise a care team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Assess resident conditions and respond to changes.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs/GNAs; provide guidance and support.
• Participate in care planning, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety, and infection control.
