Job summary

The role involves initial and ongoing patient assessments, care planning, and evaluating treatment effectiveness, including safe medication administration and cross-department care coordination in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required/preferred at hire depending on location.
• Experience in patient assessment and care planning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment with interdisciplinary team.
• Analyzes assessment data and creates a plan of care.
• Implements treatment and evaluates treatment effectiveness.
• Administers medications safely per policy and procedures and serves as care coordination point across departments.
