Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an experienced nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process, from data collection to evaluating outcomes. The role includes assessing patients, planning and implementing treatments, and coordinating care across health team members.

Responsibilities include medication administration in line with state practice and policies, and acting as a patient safety advocate while contributing to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred)
• Valid nursing license from the state of practice (required)
• Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments with the care team.
• Create and implement a care plan; administer treatments and medications safely.
• Coordinate patient care and serve as the main contact for care coordination.
• Support patient safety through quality improvement activities in the department.
• Incorporate professional practice models into daily care delivery
