Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse with cardiovascular surgery expertise for a 13-week assignment in Texas. The unit has three operating rooms and a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, with Meditech EMR used for documentation. Typical procedures include CABG, valve replacement, and carotid endarterectomy.

The role requires BLS/ACLS certification and RN licensure, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. On-call duties apply, and shift times are 07:00–19:00.

Description:This is a cardiovascular operating room position.The unit has 3 operating rooms.There are 26 staff members in total.The skill mix includes 4 RNs and 4 surgical techs during day shifts.There is no night shift staff.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.EMR used in the unit is Meditech.Typical procedures performed include CABG, valve replacement, and carotid endarterectomy.Other procedures include ECMO, angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass.The unit operates in a fast-paced environment.On-call requirements average 4-5 days per month.One weekend per month is required for on-call duty.Candidates should be prepared to work in this dynamic setting.
