Job summary

HCHcares in New Castle, Indiana seeks an RN to deliver technical bedside nursing care under supervision. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, plan short-term nursing measures, and reinforce patient education as patients learn.

You may float to other units as needed, while maintaining professional communication with patients and staff. The role requires knowledge of nursing processes, an accredited nursing program with Indiana licensure, and BLS certification, plus at least one year of relevant

• Knowledge of pathophysiology, nursing process and bedside nursing care.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing with Indiana RN licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar environment.
• BLS certification held.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Overview

Works under general supervision in delivering technical nursing care to assigned patients. Networking with a variety of entities to provide appropriate medical treatment.

• Under direction of the Clinical Coordinator, reinforces patient education as patient presents readiness to learn.




• Floats to other units within the practice when a need is indicated.




• Communicates effectively and establishes/maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel.




• Knowledgeable in the growth and developmental needs of infants through geriatric patients.




• Follows Universal Precautions.




• Successfully passes practice specific competencies.

Qualifications

• Work requires knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, and nursing interventions necessary for delivering technical bedside nursing care.


• Completion of an accredited school of nursing with subsequent Indiana Registered Nurse licensure.


• One year experience in similar environment.



• BLS certification
