RN - Cardiac Telemetry Services
Location: Independence, MO
Compensation: Up to $43/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $12,000 (with two-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

About the Role:
As a Cardiac Telemetry RN, you will monitor patients with cardiac-related conditions, interpret telemetry readings, and provide high-quality nursing care. You'll be responsible for both therapeutic and administrative functions in accordance with hospital policies.

About the Unit:

• 36-Bed Cardiac Specialty Unit

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:

  • Days: 4-5:1

  • Nights: 5-6:1

• Patient Conditions Include:
  Chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-op recovery, GI issues, accelerated heart rhythms, drips, and more

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients

• Deliver age-appropriate care for patients aged 16 and older

• Interpret ECGs and recognize cardiac emergencies

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 year of acute care RN experience required

• Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program

• Licensure: Active Missouri RN license or Compact State license

• Certifications:

  • BLS required upon hire

  • ACLS required within 1 year of hire
