Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)

The registered nurse coordinates and provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for patient care, in accordance with hospital policies and the mission of CenterPoint Medical Center.

Responsibilities include providing care for patients aged 16 and over, including young adults (18-39), adults (40-64), and geriatrics (65+). Patients under 16 are cared for until stable enough for transfer.

The RN will acquire advanced knowledge in psychosocial, spiritual, pathophysiological, and therapeutic components specific to step-down care and cardiac monitoring. The role includes risk identification, hazard mitigation, and ensuring safe practices.

Shift Details:

Days and Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
• Graduation from a nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current RN license from Missouri or a participating compact state
• BLS certification upon hire
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
