Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN - Cardiac Telemetry (PRN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will monitor cardiac patients, coordinate care with the care team, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license, education in nursing (ADN, diploma, or BSN), and BLS certification. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing and active practice in Missouri or compact state.
• Education in nursing from ADN, diploma, or BSN program.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and protects patient rights.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

RN- Cardiac Tele- PRN

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
