Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN/LPN for Cardiac Tele-PT Nights to apply the nursing process and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced cardiology unit.

Education and licensure include graduation from a nursing program and an active RN license in Missouri (compact licensure considered). BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in MO and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details:

RN/LPN - Cardiac Tele- PT Nights (24/hr weekly)

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
