Job summary

Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Ellison 8, a Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit. You will support patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires at least 1 year of nursing experience, an active MA RN license, and a commitment to day/night rotation, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required.

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses looking to provide exceptional care to patients following advanced cardiac surgeries.

• Pay: $42 - $108/hour

• Schedule: Full-time, Day/Night rotation, weekends and holidays required

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Requirements

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts
