Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Short Stay Unit (Bigelow 12) at 90 Blossom Street. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population with 24–72 hour stays, rotating days and nights, including weekends and holidays.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate has 1 year of RN experience, a medical/surgical background, BSN and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience required.
• Medical/surgical background preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Job Summary

Full time, 36 hours, day/night rotation, weekends and holidaysSeeking an experienced RN for an exciting opportunity to work on Bigelow 12, the new Short Stay Unit. The Short Stay Unit is a 31-bed telemetry floor that cares for a diverse patient population. The goal is to provide quality driven, patient-centered care to individuals with an anticipated stay of 24 - 72 hours. Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.
