Job summary

AtWork Group in Tulsa, OK is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for our Cardiac Surgical Step-Down unit. This role provides leadership and clinical oversight, mentoring staff and coordinating patient care while supporting a premium weekend schedule.

The ideal candidate has current Oklahoma RN licensure and 2+ years in cardiac step-down, plus 1–2 years in a leadership or clinical leadership role. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Oklahoma or Compact state.
• Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Surgical Step-Down.
• 1–2 years of leadership or related clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staffing and patient assignments.
• Evaluate staffing needs for current and upcoming shifts.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing personnel.
• Monitor compliance with hospital policies and attendance standards.
• Assist with patient placement and bed management.
• Coordinate patient transfers and ensure continuity of care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond to changing patient conditions using sound clinical judgment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify educational needs and assist with staff development.
• Help maintain nursing standards, policies, and best practices.
