Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assess, organize, and complete patient care considering age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process.
• Utilize proper medical terminology; address problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitate patient discharge through referrals and education resources.
• Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Support unit/hospital goals through PI and education activities.
• Exercise independent judgment in decision-making within clinical context.
