Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a New Grad Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Short-Stay unit at Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on delivering entry-level nursing care with a strong emphasis on organization, leadership, and patient safety.

You will work with the telemetry team to assess conditions, implement care plans, and provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. A BSN is preferred; RN licensure and BLS per policy are required or pursued on hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the relevant state or eligible.
• BLS certification preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs and administer IV medications.
• Understand charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plans of care to meet outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and per Mercy Health policies.
