Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for pre/post care. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Cardiac Cath patients and assist physicians in procedures.

Join a collaborative team focused on high-quality outcomes. Requires RN license, ACLS/BCLS within 30 days, NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months, no travel, and no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Diploma is required to practice.
• No travel required; on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

We are seeking a Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.

• You will assist physicians in operative procedures.

• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results

• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Registered Nurse Diploma

• No Travel Required
