Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital in Broward County, FL, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PRN Cath Lab EP role. You will deliver specialized nursing care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, timely procedures.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership, patient advocacy, and compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. CPR/ACLS/BCLS/PALS readiness within 30 days is required, and a RN license with an associate degree is

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) credential.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience as Cath lab RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and physician orders.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, leadership, and planning for patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team in cath lab procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures and recovery.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

What qualifications you will need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Needs to be experienced Cath lab RN
