HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL is seeking a part-time Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse. You will provide clinical expertise in a procedural environment and support a collaborative cardiac team.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, ASN/ Diploma, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. Prior RN acute care, bedside nursing, and strong teamwork are valued. Competitive benefits and ongoing education support are offered.

• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• You will assist physicians in operative procedures.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire of transfer
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
• Critical thinking, service excellent and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
