Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Pavilion on a PRN, 12-hour night shift (7:00pm - 7:30am).

Graduation from a nursing program (AD/ Diploma/ BSN) and current RN licensure (state or compact) plus BLS certification within 30 days are required. The job entails lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and mobility.

Registered Nurse

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO

Department: Cardiac Pavilion

Status: PRN

Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm - 7:30am)

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
