Summary of Job Duties:

The Registered Nurse will promote wellness; improve outcomes, and self-care within a defined population of patients. Responsibilities include supporting patients with chronic conditions through education and assistance, developing and implementing health plans, coordinating care and follow-up, and collaborating with physicians to manage prescriptions and patient education.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
  • Valid RN License.
  • One (1) year Registered Nursing experience in ICU or ER.
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong work ethics and accountability.

Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and patient education.
  • Deliver nursing care per standards set by UAMS, ANA, AR State Board of Nursing, and specialty organizations.
  • Administer medications according to clinic standards and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Develop and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Coordinate care and follow-up in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Implement care plans using a patient and family-centered approach.
  • Advocate for patients and families to ensure safe, competent care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience.
