Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking an RN - Cardiac Imaging to perform stress testing, provide patient assessment and nursing care, and collaborate with the healthcare team during cardiac diagnostic testing.

This full-time role requires 32 hours per week (4 days) with M-F days and on-call rotating weekends/holidays. The pay range is $37.25 to $57.74 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.
• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing.

Position Highlights:

• On-Call: Rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage

What you will do:

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.


• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.

• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing.

What you will need:

• License: Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.


• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Experience: One year of staff nursing experience preferred; critical care experience (CCU, ICU, ER or Cath Lab) preferred.
