Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking an RN – Cardiac Imaging for a full-time, 32-hour week, Monday–Friday day shift with rotating on-call coverage.

You will perform stress testing, assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medications, oxygen therapy and IV management while developing care plans and documenting patient progress.

Requirements include Illinois RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, AHA CPR, ACLS within six months; one year of staff nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• AHA CPR certification required; ACLS within six months of hire.
• One year of staff nursing experience preferred; critical care experience (CCU, ICU, ER or Cath Lab) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.
• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago
• Full Time: 32 hours per week (4 days)
• Shift: M-F Days
• On-Call: Rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage

What you will do:

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.
• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
