Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for Cardiac Imaging at Swedish Hospital in Chicago. This full-time role covers 32 hours per week over four days, with Monday–Friday day shifts and rotating on-call weekends/holidays.

The ideal candidate will perform stress testing, patient assessment, and nursing care, with responsibilities including IV management, contrast administration, and patient education. Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required; ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license is required.
• ACLS within six months of hire is preferred.
• One year of staff nursing experience preferred; critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.
• Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care during cardiac diagnostic testing.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

? Full Time: 32 hours per week (4 days)

? Shift: M-F Days

? On-Call: Rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage

What you will do

? Perform stress testing and provide patient assessment and nursing care.

? Assist with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy and IV management.

? Develop and implement individualized plans of care and document patient progress and interventions.

? Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.

? Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe, evidence-based care throughout cardiac diagnostic testing.

What you will need

? License: Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

? Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

? Certification: American Heart Association CPR certification required. ACLS required within six months of hire.

? Experience: One year of staff nursing experience preferred; critical care experience (CCU, ICU, ER or Cath Lab) preferred.
