Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This full-time, day-shift position requires assessing patient needs, initiating interventions, and maintaining nursing standards in the Cardiac Cath Lab under supervision of the Invasive Cardiology director.

Candidates should have NJ RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS/IABP, IV and Telemetry certs, and 1+ year acute care or 1–2 years critical care experience. PTCA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BCLS, ACLS and IABP Certification.
• IV Certification and Telemetry certification per policy.
• NJ RN license with BLS, ACLS and IABP; PALS, EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and initiate interventions for adult and geriatric patients in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Maintain standards of nursing care and practice of the Nursing Department.
• Work under supervision of physician and/or Director of Invasive Cardiology in Cardiac Cath Lab.

RN-Cardiac Cath Lab (Full-time, Day shift)

Salary Range: $47.30 To $70.90 Hourly

What You'll Be Doing

• Under the general supervision of the physician and/or Director of Invasive Cardiology, the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
• Nurse is responsible for assessing nursing needs and initiating appropriate Intervention for Adult and Geriatric patients in Cardiac Cath. Lab, Department as required.
• Maintains standards of nursing care and practice of the Nursing Department.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing. BCLS, ACLS ,IABP Certification. Complete IV Certification course and Telemetry certification as per Medical Center policy.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment desirable.
• A minimum of one (1) year previous acute care experience is required to qualify for sign-on bonus(*)
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing; 1-2 Years Critical care experience required.
• Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model and function independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS, ACLS, IABP required. PALS certification and experience in EKG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring.
• PTCA experience preferred.
