Job summary

CarePoint Health's Hudson Regional Health is seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role features 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday with rotational on-call, and requires assessment of nursing needs and timely interventions for adult and geriatric patients in the Cath Lab.

Applicants should have graduated from an approved nursing program, hold a NJ RN license, and possess BCLS, ACLS, IABP, IV and Telemetry certifications, plus radiographic knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing and NJ RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, IABP Certification required; IV and Telemetry certifications as per policy.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment desirable.
• Minimum one year acute care experience; sign-on bonus eligibility.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing; 1-2 years critical care preferred.
• PTCA experience preferred; ability to work independently with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Nurse assesses nursing needs and initiates appropriate intervention for adults and geriatrics in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Maintains standards of nursing care and practice within the Nursing Department.

What You’ll Be Doing

Under the general supervision of the physician and/or Director of Invasive Cardiology, the Cardiac Cath. Lab.

Nurse is responsible for assessing nursing needs and initiating appropriate Intervention for Adult and Geriatric patients in Cardiac Cath. Lab, Department as required.

Maintains standards of nursing care and practice of the Nursing Department.

What We’re Looking For

10‑hour shift (Mon‑Fri) Rotational On‑call required.

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing. BCLS, ACLS ,IABP Certification. Complete IV Certification course and Telemetry certification as per Medical Center policy.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment desirable.
• A minimum of one (1) year previous acute care experience is required to qualify for sign‑on bonus(*)
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical Nursing; 1-2 Years Critical care experience required.
• Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model and function independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS, ACLS, IABP required. PALS certification and experience in EKG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring.
• PTCA experience preferred.
