Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to join our invasive cardiology team.

Under physician and director supervision, the RN will assess nursing needs and initiate interventions for adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Requires NJ RN license, BCLS, ACLS, IABP, IV and telemetry certifications; 1+ year acute care; 1–2 years CCU preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing with NJ RN license.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and IABP certifications required; IV and Telemetry certifications preferred.
• Telemetry, EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring knowledge expected.
• Minimum 1 year acute care; 1–2 years in cardiology/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of physician and/or Director, provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Assess nursing needs and initiate interventions for adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain standards of care in the Nursing Department.
