Endeavor Health in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek with daytime hours from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, and requires a state nursing license and Cath Lab experience.

The position includes a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for candidates with at least one year of Cath Lab experience, along with competitive pay and shift/on-call incentives.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• 1 year of Cath Lab experience preferred; CPR and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sign on Bonus:

$20,000- Must have at least 1 year of prior Cath lab experience.

Position Highlights

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL
• Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week
• Hours: 6:30am ? 5:00pm (Scheduled Monday ? Friday)
• On call required in addition to regular schedule: Approximately 6-7 on call shifts per month including weekends
• Required Travel: No
