Job summary

SriMatrix Health in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care and support cardiologists during invasive cardiac procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

The role requires an active Illinois RN License, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and strong clinical assessment with critical thinking. On-call rotation and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS (CPR) Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Perform circulating and scrub duties as required
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and assist with specialized cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Delegate nursing tasks appropriately based on patient acuity
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff
• Participate in the department’s on-call rotation

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, support cardiologists during invasive cardiac procedures, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• Experience assisting with invasive cardiac procedures
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and interventional cardiology equipment
• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
