Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians and the care team to support positive patient outcomes.

Requirements include RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing, ACLS or CPR within 30 days of start, and cath lab, ED or ICU experience preferred; on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Cath Lab, ED or ICU experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Cath Lab, ED or ICU experience preferred
• on call is required
