Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across units.

The RN coordinates with providers, uses established nursing models, and acts as an advocate for patients and families to support outcomes and the hospital's mission.

This full-time, night-shift role requires ACLS, crisis intervention, and at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• RN license/registration required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Full-time night shift.
• Must have at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience.
• No travel required.
• 2 years experience required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
