Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a Registered Nurse with BSN to lead high quality cardiovascular and general nursing care in an acute setting in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN required.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP or required specialty training on hire.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in cardiovascular assessment, 12-lead ECG interpretation, and cardiac arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members; direct and facilitate nursing staff to achieve safe outcomes.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and maintain Service Excellence.
