Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN, is seeking an RN for our Level 17 Cardiac Unit at St. Mary’s Medical Center. You will organize and provide care for post-op heart surgery, telemetry, and related cardiac patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

This 0.8 FTE role features day/evening shifts with a rotating schedule, every other weekend, and ongoing compliance with Joint Commission standards to support community health.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota.
• BCLS certification within one month.
• ACLS certification within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Lead a team and delegate tasks to nursing personnel based on licensure and job descriptions.
• Meet Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
