Job summary

ProMedica is seeking an Access and Bed Planning RN at ProMedica Toledo Hospital to coordinate patient flow within the Capacity Management framework. You will manage transfers, real-time bed planning and systemwide capacity optimization, collaborating with house supervisors and clinical leaders to ensure safe admissions.

The role requires 2–3 years acute care RN experience, Ohio and Michigan licensure (dual licensure required within 3 months if needed) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Experience: 2–3 years acute care clinical experience.
• License: RN licensed in Ohio and Michigan (if dual license not held, obtain within 3 months).
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to apply clinical and operational protocols for admissions, transfers and capacity coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers and bed planning in real time.
• Collaborate with house supervisors, EVS, facilities management and clinical leaders to admit patients safely.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation in the EHR and related systems.
