Job summary

HonorHealth in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift in the Cancer Care-Tempe department. The RN provides comprehensive patient care under ANA standards and codes of ethics, develops care plans, administers meds and IV therapy, and collaborates with physicians and the multi-disciplinary team.

This role requires a BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience, active AZ RN license and BLS, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a large nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience.
• Active AZ RN license and BLS certification required or preferred.
• Med-surg/float position requires 1 year RN experience in relevant setting.
• Unit-specific certifications as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications and IV therapy.
• Develop and execute patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Document patient data and outcomes, ensuring accuracy in EMR and reports.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students, promoting evidence-based practice.
