Job summary

Mercy Health's The Jewish Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care RN for Bone Marrow Transplant in the Oncology ICU. This nights shift role supports a 36-hour weekly schedule, delivering patient-centered care across Med-Surg and ICU interfaces, with emphasis on assessment, care planning, and patient safety.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS/ACLS (ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire), and 1 year of RN experience (6 months in acute care preferred).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BSN preferred (not required)
• 1 year RN experience required
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred with hire, ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Assess patient status and develop care plans
• Serve as care coordination contact across hospital departments
• Administer medications safely and follow policies
• Support patient safety and quality improvement efforts
