Job summary

Methodist Healthcare System seeks a Days Shift Registered Nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic in San Antonio. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following established nursing models and advocating for patients and families.

You will assess, document, administer medications, educate families, and respond promptly to patient needs, with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in hospital councils and national nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
• Minimum of six months of clinical RN experience.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact license (obtain Texas license within 60 days).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift; report changes.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
