Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with departmental standards and state regulations. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, promptly reporting changes.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and respond to adverse reactions.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up care, translating complex terminology as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
