Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and standards of practice for your state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.

Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of adverse reactions.

Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs, and resolve issues effectively.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology for complete understanding.

• Qualifications needed:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Registered Nurse license.
• ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
