Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with department requirements and standards of practice. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, compassionate care, following models like 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization's values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  1. Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
  2. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered, ensuring thorough documentation.
  3. Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and take action on unintended effects.
  4. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
  5. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex terminology as needed.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
