Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, promptly reporting any changes.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered, ensuring thorough documentation in the medical record. Administer medications, monitor responses, and respond to any adverse effects.
Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues proactively.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up care, translating complex medical information as needed.
