Job summary

Yourpayrollhr is seeking a competent professional Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care for newborns, obstetric patients, and postpartum/post-surgical clients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN must hold an active Maine license with ACLS and BLS, with preferred experience in perinatal care and certifications like NRP, Fetal Monitoring, CLC, STABLE, and IV Therapy.

Qualifications

• Perinatal experience preferred, however will train an RN with strong clinical background.
• NRP, Fetal Monitoring, CLC, STABLE, and IV Therapy are also preferred.
• RN Maine License, ACLS and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care for newborns, obstetric patients, and postpartum/post-surgical care across all stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery and neonate care.
• Assess and address physical, emotional and educational needs; refer to outside agencies when indicated.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care; rotate weekends and holidays as required.

Description

This is a competent professional registered nurse position requiring practical and technical skills sufficient to deliver quality nursing care for newborns, childbearing women and women having OBGYN procedures. She/he must be able to assess and manage patients during all stages of pregnancy, labor and delivery, post-partum care, care of the neonate and post surgical care. The RN must also be able to assess and meet the patient's physical, emotional and educational needs and have the knowledge to refer to outside agencies whenever indicated.

Status: Full time, 36 hours, 7p-7a. This position includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualities: This vibrant and forward-thinking RN will possess strong critical thinking, flexibility and communication skills. The ability to work independently but also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing patient-centered care is a must.

The pay range for this position is $35.17 to $60.42 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
