Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Five years’ technical experience preferred
• One year’s leadership experience preferred
• Two years’ acute care nursing in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff.
• Coordinates daily activities of a defined unit with leadership judgment and unit champions.
• Sets goals for patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Directs scheduling, overtime, and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Acts as a liaison with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care plans.
