Job summary

Mercy Joplin's Behavioral Health unit is seeking a registered nurse to provide specialized patient care to adults in a 32-bed unit. You will use the nursing process, maintain patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments to support Mercy's mission and service standards.

The position requires a Nursing Degree, current MO RN license (or compact), and Basic Life Support certification. Mercy offers day-one medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement ($2,000/yr), relocation assistance

Behavioral Health offers 32 beds within the Mercy Joplin main hospital. Our nurses are specially trained to care for the Adult Psych population. The unit offers a women’s side, a men’s side & medical care side.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school

• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
